Things to do in the garden during lockdown, day 18: make an Easter egg hunt with a twist
You can't beat a good easter egg hunt. This one is a snail trail with the compulsory chocolate at the end.
Easter eggs involve a lot of unnecessary plastic packaging and now mean that potentially risky trip to the shops, so this year I'm setting up a snail trail with a large chocolate cake at the end of it.
I went on an empty snail shell hunt in the garden first thing, and got painting. I am going to hide these around the garden on Sunday. My kids are teenagers so our easter hunts always involve cryptic clues with a chocolate prize at the end. Once the excitement is all over the shells will have an after life as colourful cane protectors in my veg patch.
