Things to do in the garden during lockdown day 60: get creative - paint a corona caterpillar

Painting stones is a fun garden art project that can be added to as time goes on.

The benefits of social and therapeutic horticulture can not be underestimated. I have taken a few courses with @Thrivecharity and used to co-run a number of school gardening projects. Anything that combines gardens and art is right up my street. I guess that is why I became a garden designer, it's basically painting with plants. It is really worth checking out Thrive's learning website as they also run some fantastic online courses.

Social and therapeutic horticulture, painted stones

Here is the head of Corona the caterpillar who is now residing in front of the railings around out community garden. I've WhatsApped the street, popped her on social media and she is bright enough to be seen from the road, so hopefully folk will add their own brightly coloured segments. I shall keep you posted on how long she gets.

Rock snakes like the one at St Neots have bene popping up all over the country. Lovin' it!
